Probably my C6 Corvette. Bought it new in Feb. 2007. In six and half years, I've put ~7,000 miles on it. If I add the depreciation, insurance, tag, and gas it probably works out to about $5/ mile.
That's almost exactly like mine. Bought new June '07 and it now has 7,100 miles on it.
But it was a means to an end.Does this include things we bought for other people, rather than for ourselves? I've got a pretty good list of pricey things. (Starting, of course, with engagement ring - I never use it.)
My Kimber. Shot off all my 45 when I thought it would be readily available. Then some moron speculated Obama would ban guns and everybody started hoarding.

One month I bought a Macbook Air, Samsung Series 9 and a Sony Vaio Z, so I can test them out and see which one I liked the best. I spent about 10 minutes on the Samsung and couldn't stand the trackpad. I spent about an hour playing on the Sony, before settling on the Macbook Air. Then I went out and bought three more Airs while the Samsung and Sony sit unused.
Why don't you guys drive them? Are they not comfortable?
Garage queens? Unless you're a millionaire who couldn't care less, I never understood the idea of a "toy car". Drive your prized possession, every single day.

No, it's probably the most comfortable sports car I've driven. Only car comparable in comfort would be Porsche 911.
The reason I don't drive it much is due to lack of time and 3rd seat. I work in the construction related field so I can't daily drive it. I need my cargo van or truck. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my wife and daughter so I drive the minivan. I just finished working 80 days straight so I haven't even started the car in over 3 months. It's connected to the battery charger. But it's the same with any toy car/motorcycle I buy. I hardly ever drove the Boxster, S2000, and the F4 when I had it. I just don't have the time. But I buy it anyway knowing it brings a smile to my face when I do drive it. I could sell it but why? I don't need the money. It's paid off and I don't have any debt. And if I sell it I will just buy another sports car and the same thing will happen.
Was determined to learn to play guitar, and felt my $99 starter guitar was too much crap, small fretboard to learn on. So bought a $600 "good" guitar. I think I continued to try for a month to learn to play, and gave up - too much of a time committment. So my $600 guitar has been sitting in it's case unused for about 8 years now.
