I've worked 60 and 80 hour weeks back to back before When I was in catering and in manufacturing. I'm in IT now and it usually stays around 40-50.
You know, anytime I start to complain about my IT hours (typically 50 to 70 per week), I remember back to my days in food service (which at one point was like 80 hours a week, 7 days a week) & quit whining. IT is far less stress & fewer hours than the crazy world of food ever was
