I don't think I know any rich people at all, or if I do I have no idea they're rich :/ I think I'm actually the richest person I know, and I don't really know how to fully properly estimate my net worth (which would kind of put me in a much worse place to estimate anyone else's)

Well yeah, that part is simple. But the tricky part here is I'm only paying quarterly estimates safe harbor on taxes and will probably owe quite a bit April 2015. So I'd consider that a substantial amount of debt vs how much I currently have, I just don't know exactly what and it'd be a pain to come up with better estimates for my tax liability

500m +, hes someplace inbetween 500-1 bill, really nice guy, never actually asked him it would be rude. but i do know he sold one of the companys he owned for ~650 mill a few years ago and has invested it and such, he also still works and has a lot of other assets, property and such.

He recently sold off most of his horses (like 40) he used to play a lot of polo,

he currently lives and works in a town of 6000 people in bumblefuck western NY and you would have no idea he was super rich.

I know someone who makes over $200k a year. It kinda sucks because he has TWO jobs, but at least he "works from home". He also makes a little extra renting out his moms DVD collection.
