My 17" Trintron from Dell. Turning 3 years old this month . I want a new screen but can't seem to justify laying out the cash.

My printer. It's an Epson 500, and whenever those came out, thats when I got it, so it's rather old since all the parts of my new PC I got in August/September.

Hmm... printer would be my oldest component, at least among the stuff I bought new.
I do have an old 540MB HDD that I use for backing up a bit of stuff though, bought it off a guy a year or so ago for like $5. No idea how old that thing is.

Let's see... Memorex 2x2x16 CDRW is about 2 years old. My processor is about a year roughly.
Everything else is under a year old I think.

The oldest part of my computer... the power cable between the wall socket and my computer... been with me since 1984 when I had my old PC-XT ... and still going strong. It still has quite a few years of life left in it.

I've been using the same mouse since 1992. Its been cleaned a million times, still works good. I'll use it until it croaks.

In my PC it's my HP Deskjet 500 purchased at the same time as the monitor below. Second is the keyboard from my inlaws 486 machine circa 94.

In my wife's PC it's the ancient PB 14 inch monitor that refuses to die! It was purchased in the spring of 93 and up until about 98 was used pretty much daily for several hours at a time. Now it's on now and then. Heck the stand for it has been broken since sometime in 94!

In my linux box it's the floppy drive also out of the in-laws old 486 machine.

Stringy, if that's a genuine Ensoniq Audio PCI card and not just anything with a 1370 or 1371 chip, hang on to it because its analog sound quality its distortion, noise, and frequency response are unusually good, better than any SB Live.

My trusty compaq keyboard...4 years old and still going. Its drank several pepsis and other fluids over the years, and still works - I would never give it up.!

my 1992 MAG 17" monitor

just HAVE to replace it soon, altough it has no problems with 1024x768 @ 85 Hz.
Still a very sharp image too, a little wary of the magnetic field thou

It was until recently my 3yr old Sidewinder Pre Pro but the floppy 6 months its younger died. It is now replaced by a pull at least 5yrs old... I found a desktop on the road side 75mhz w/a 5in disc that didnt get salvaged but the 3.5floppy did I'm so glad.....during boot seek this thing is about as loud as cat purr. The newer dead one was loud as heck compaired,in fact it was the loudest thing on my system and thats with Quantum LM's and a Creative 52Xmax. It's kinda funny I never thought to try to get a quiet floppy but through fate I got a nice one.

After that its the Joystick 3,Keyboard/Mouse 2.5,Zip100 2.5....and so on

Yes it is a true blue Original Ensoniq AudioPCI, the sound Quality is Quite good, tho, I'm afraid it's CPU use can be stagering at times... Also it's Full Duplex Microphone recording is less than perfect, it echos something fierce... it'll remain in my system for now...
I paid $75 for the thing way back when, and it was truely the pioneer to PCI audio and why Creative valued it so much they had to purchase the technology and base their SB Live on some of the major parts of the Ensoniq AudioPCI...

Here goes:

tie between my mouse and my keyboard.

My keyboard dates back to my 386 and my mouse is from a friends 386. Luckily the friend never used this mouse so it just sat in a corner and I am using it to feel old skool. Nothing like the power of AT keyboards and serial mice!

Unfortunatly I have to wash the mouse ball every couple of days as for some reason it dirties quickly.

My HP4c scanner dates back to 98, and I've been moving a couple of 3C905B nics around that are second in line.
