Heheh, I've got a couple of good ones...

My Acer 2x Burner.... I burn music CDs like there's no tomorrow...

My Cyrix MII - 333 Chip on my DNS Linux box... (Upgraded from the Pentium 100 with the FP bug)

An AMD K6-II 450 Chip on email Linux box...

I'm in the middle of getting tapes for an old colorado tape backup... I want to see if it still works...

Bow before me, mere pseudo-retro hardware owners!! I'm still using an IBM Model M PS/2 keyboard circa 1984, and it still beats every other keyboard made after it till today.

/me high-5's stevewm, mechBgon, bgeh and Biggs. IBM Model M owners rock!

How about around my computer?

It would have to be the case. I've ran 5 systems and 3 PSUs through it and I still like it.

I just built my new rig a few weeks ago. But in my previous system it would have to be my voodoo5 5500. It was still running games without any problems until I tried UT2K3.

Our family machine (Athlon 1200/KT133A) is running an Epson floppy drive from 1996. Functions just as well as my Alps drive from 2002.

Thrustmaster FLCS/TQS/RCS set up from Feb 1996. Bought to play Mechwarrior II on my Pentium 166 system (also bought to play that game...). The 17" Sony I bought then is also still in use, but it is on my brother's computer now.

Do you remember those old power strips that you put under your monitor that had a lighted switch for each plug (Aux1, Aux2, Printer, Monitor, Computer) in the front of it???

Well, I've had mine since '94 I think. I'm still using it. Originally I had a 14" monitor sitting on top of it. It's had a 21" on it for about 5 years now.

The dang thing still works like a charm!

I've got one of those. And the lights in the switches flash and blink like crazy after all these years. Noobs think it's the computer, lol.

But my oldest part in my system is a case fan that's about 10 years old.

oh yeah, I have one of those too
