My daughter (11 years old) is a mod on a server were some of the creations are... mindblowingly impressive. She plays the game for the creativity side of it all.
My son (13 years old) plays it for the "game" portion. He plays on a lot of servers with Hunger Game mods and such.
The generic game, out of the box, is a snooze fest. The mods and what people have done with the base game are quite impressive.
So basically it is the Quake of modern gaming.
it's a combination of lego toys and fps games, but you don't have to buy new sets when you want to make something new and you can share & play with your friends as well.
Very much so... though Quake wasn't overly into the "creativity" side of it I guess.
To be fair we didn't have as many females back in gaming then. Creativity was defined in how many enemies your BFG could zap at once, and what color lightning it used.
I was around back then. I remember.
Um, no?It was glorious.
I will never forget the days when I associated Counter-Terrorism with a HL mod (which itself is a glorified Quake mod).
Um, no?
ExactlyHe's sorta almost in a far stretchy kinda way right. Not really though.
