no, Afghanistan is much more than just mountains. its really a extraordinarily beautiful country .... I just wish some form of stability returns to that country, otherwise its a great country

EDIT: I would have to say the US though. I mean, we got the great skylines like new york, la, and sf. We have the plains and forests. We have the Mountains and lakes and ice (alaska).

Tehran? Do you have any pictures of it? The pictures that I have seen look pretty dirty and fairly ordinary - nothing great to put it among good cities like Sydney or Hong Kong.

Hard to choose..honestly though...Id say the US..we have so many landscapes/terrains represented. I think many of you are forgetting Glacier National Park, northwest, Alaska...then you have Hawaii and Florida. Definitely US.

What part of nevada. Remember a trip to LV really doesn't count. And Utah has some amazing national parks. As does california and AZ.

It's nice if you like that kind of stuff.

I saw a documentary on people going to Afghanistan during the Taliban regime just to get a chance to climb those mountains. They loved every second of it. In their eyes it was the most beautiful thing they've ever seen.

Too many to pick, but Laos is definitely one of the most beautiful countries I've been to.
