40 mb, my first computer, a 286 had a 40 mb drive. And at the time, that was a lot. Could fit all my games on there, DOS of course, Windows 3.1 a little later, everything.

hehe Windows 3.1 was like 20 megabytes. Those were the days.

10 or 20 meg on a XT I think it was. I bought that after I already had my 386 with a whooping 120meg Conner!

40 MB on an old 286, but I have an old Apple ][ C sitting in storage; does no hard drive count?

5 meg hard-drive on a Commodore 64. Seemed like an obnoxious amount of space at the time (I filled it, though.)

70 meg Quantum hard-drive on an Amiga 500. Same feeling, same eventual filling of the hard drive.

Although I still have yet to fill the 20 gig on my system now... Thank god for CD-Rs.

5 meg on an Applie IIE or II or something like that. It was the size of the computer.

My Atari ST came with a 320K 3.5 inch drive and I added a 760K 2nd drive but I never had a hard drive for it. The first PC I worked on was a Compaq "Luggable" that had a huge 10MB drive that seemed unfillable at the time. My first PC was a 486/33 with a Maxtor 120MB drive. I still have that thing somewhere lol.
