There's no real city center in my mind around which all the fun gravitates. You got to drive between Midtown and Buckhead (several miles) to catch any action. Like I said, Gordon Biersch is a great place for beer (but expensive). From there, go clubbing at eleven50, Halo, Vision, etc. There's also some historical stuff to see if you're making your first visit: MLK museum, M. Mitchell house, Coke Museum, Underground Atlanta, Stone Mountain, etc.

How close is Buckhead and Midtown to Downtown Atl?

Notice how the women are always thin in bad suits, then get pregnant? For a while I thought they should rename it to the Pregnancy Channel

You mean they didn't re-name it?

May I also recommend the Atlanta Seafood Market. The best seafood I have EVER had. I was in there for business last summer.

Is Buckhead that place Ludacris rapped about? Where super rich people live? That can be cool.. I wonder if there's a blind guy on the corner selling maps to stars' homes?

Atlanta is Definitely NO NY or Chicago. but it's ok.

Underground Atlanta has gotten pretty good. Lenox square area is ok.

You figure out what you should do.

crantang posted that she was female, so how exactly is this fact helpful to her?

Mmmmmmmmm........

I don't swing that way. Girls are nice, except for the whining about "did you hear what she said about what he did to that blah blah blah... blah." Plus, they are bad drivers.

Is there a farmer's market, or field where I can pick peaches or strawberries or something? That would be nice!

Another thing you might want to look into is AccessAtlanta for information on Atlanta.

Oh and Varsity is on the corner of North and Spring not 14th.

There is a new Organic Farmers Market that opened on Ponce de Leon. Although if you dont have a car it'll be hard to get to.

Oh BTW

THanks PoonDaddy

I will definitely check out that site! I think I'll go to that Organic market. I wonder if they give hay rides and stuff? Kidding.

Another vote for the Varsity. Been eating it as long as I can remember. Every time I'm in ATL, usually 6-9 times a year, I hit up the Varsity once or twice.

Make sure you get some chili dogs. Going there and not eating a chili dog would be blasphemy. I don't understand why the rest of the menu exists outside of the chili dogs, fries/OR, cokes, and the Orange drink.

Honestly, I don't see the allure of the Varsity. Atlanta has a zillion extremely good restaurants, so why subject yourself to the gastrointestinal distress that the V will surely induce?

I typed out a bunch of ideas for Hammer a while back when he was in town.
