I think they do accept paypal ( that's how I paid the last time anyways). The price /mb is going to go up after January 15th to 2 cents a mb.

It is illegal, don't complain that it does not work.

The legality of it has yet to be determined. It's kind of a grey area. Don't speak if you don't know what you're talking about.

Market value is subjective.

In the US, things are expensive because people can and will find ways to afford it. In Russia and for most parts of Asia the same CD is being sold for way less than you'd imagine.

Case in point, in SE Asia i could purchase a legal copy of whatever audio CD you can think of for about $6. Same CD in the US? Twice that much.

Never saw that article (and am a longtime fan of WIRED and Wilco... go figure) Regardless, some of Tweedy's comments are just spot on... specifically the Library and "like radio to us".

God Bless people and artists with open minds and a real sense of REAL LIFE. "six figure expense accounts..." HA! I LOVE IT!

I'm not convinced it's illegal. Different countries have different copyright laws, I'm not a scholar of Russian copyright law, but as long as it's legit there, OUR copyright laws give you the right to reimport it.

well if you want to get technical and sh*t about it. some countries don't have much "law". so is it ethical is the better question. is it ethical or moral to take advantage of a hole in another countries law to essentially steal.

Why is it that persons get all uppity when you break the law - saying that you are immoral and that breaking the law is unjust.

They stick to the mantra 'the law is the law' so just suck it up. . . and the 'you have no right to break the law' - then when there is a possible legal way to do something, it is wrong too?

its not the law is law. its fairness. is it right to pay for stolen goods? its worse because you are actually supporting a thief. normal piracy does not benifit shady sellers.....

and its an aberation of the law really. do other developed countries allow this? no, just the rather screwed up corrupt russia.
