What's up with Bluetooth??

I keep hearing this technology thrown around, but I haven't heard of any shipping products using it...anyone have any info on the stuff?

Remember reading an article on the paper about a show in Japan. They have various products based on the bluetooth technology. Things like printers, flash memory, digital cameras etc etc... There is also a device where you plug it in your usb port so you can use the technology on your PC.

Bluetooth, seems to be too short-ranged It is based off of Qcoms CDMA 3rd generation ... something like that...

Bluetooth is for PAN not WAN it does not need to be long range

Bluetooth is BIG BROTHER! hehehehe. Actually it is available in some cell phone products already. I cant wait until we can get ride of waiters! I go to a restauraunt, I whip out my bluetooth enabled PDA (ipaq hopefully, that ones for you nfs4) and get an instant menu! No more 20% NYC waiter tip! Not that I tip that much anyway, but in NYC the waiters expect that and treat you like next time you come in.
