Whats up with my sound?!?! All the MP3's I play suddenly become the Peter Frampton versions - all synthesized... Ideas?

Everything comes all wierd out of winamp all of a sudden. I let another person on the computer and i dont know what happened. I already restarted, to no avail. What do you all think?

lemme guess, you've got a SB Live? go and look in the EAX panel in the Creative Launcher (Start -> Programs -> Creative -> Creative Launcher -> AudioHQ).
if its not that, then yeah, check your winamp DSP plugins. (Fire up winamp, press CTRL - P -> plugins -> DSP/Effect)

It might sound cool if you select the "Output Device" to be your midi thingie. Then maybe it will play all the mp3's using the midi sounds.
