Whats ur opinion of the Asus cusl2?

Looking to purchase a new board - i815 - thinking of the asus cusl2 - any comments?

I am currently using the cusl2 and have had no problems with the board. Unfortunately, some people arent having such luck.

I had a problem with the first board i bought and took it back. The second one has been flawless and stable. Another good sight to get some more opinions would be www.cusl2.com.

Also, if you have been reading the reviews the cusl2 was ranked the best. Good luck!

same here, we have 3 CUSL2 amongst me and my coworkers and so far, the two that we setup are running rock solid and even OC to 1giga just to see if its possible ...

board is okay but a s#@t load of bios bugs. i wouldnt reccomend it and i have one.

I have one and love it. Runs flawlessly for me. Only problem I ran into was didn't want to play MotocrossMadness2 with my ATI installed. Put in a Voodoo3 and runs perfectly. I would recommend.

I love it and reccomend it (only problemo is the price, but i feel it was worth it), my system as below but more details would be:

USB and USB Legacy disabled
Beta xxxxxx.002 BIOS

The only problem i have is the temperature reading being about 15 C low in windows, but i have not had 1 crash and at the moment my system has an uptime of just over 6 days.

It's a very solid and very fast board....if you are prepared to put up with some of its quirks if they apply to you. Most should be fixed in a BIOS update soon, so the ASUS CUSL2 would be fine.

just recieved mine yesterday and loving it only problem is the temp reading to me but its pretty stable.more stable then my be6-2

I have one, and like it quite well. I replaced a toasted bh6 board. I was fortunate to have a stick of PC133 for it. Running my 400 celeron, I am plagued by the PC bus speeds when the fsb is in the 90-99 range. The 3/1 PCI divider doesn't kick in till you get all the way to 100, and 4/1 doesnt apply til you get to 133. In my case, I'm trying to run at 95, and either the internal video or the pc cards wont handle the 47+/95 mz. I'm too lazy to swap out the video, to see if thats the problem. So I run at 93/558, and I'm happy.

Speaking of the video, when I overclock and use 24 bit color, anything over 1024 x 768 has a lot of distortion, extraneous lines. So I set it back to 16 bit color, and I'm content. When I pick up a better video card, I will slap it in, but I think I am looking for a PIII first...

With a P3 700e @1000mhz 1.65volts what else can you say...

Well I`m still running the original bios for stability and use a temp correction adjustment from within my monitor program (CPUCool) other than the temp adjustment this has to be the best I`ve seen so far, I would highly recommend it!
