Seriously though...my leather bomber jacket is VERY warm. No wool lining either. I can wear it in the teens and be warm with only a t-shirt on underneath.

I like wool because it keeps me warm and is more "breathable" but leather is also nice it just seems to not let air flow as freely.

Leather blocks the wind better, also does a better job of repelling the elements.

Wool just does a better job of insulating. A leather coat with a wool lining would be quite warm.
