I guess that's what you call it (carriage), the swinging arm that holds the rear wheel. Anyway, what's the deal with these bikes that have the rear wheels pushed waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy back past the frame of the bike?? I know that a lengthened wheelbase on a car will smooth out bumps and give a better ride, but this doesn't seem to be the reason for doing so on these bikes. It looks more for show...
