Whats your beer stock look like?

Just picked up a bottle of '08 Dogfish Head World Wide Stout, $9.49 for 12 oz. If its tasty, the store has 8 more in the back room. Also in my home:

10 bottle of Bourbon County Stout (This might be my favorite beer now)
3 bottles of Rouge Dead Guy
2 bottles of Utenos Porter
1 bomber Hoppin Frog Wild Frog Wheat
12 bottles of Founder's Porter

Thinking about storing away some of the Bourbon County Stout. Maybe I should get a few more 4-packs to be safe.

Probably so! I usually raid the domestic aisles first. It's a really easy and compatible flavor. I must admit, the Founders Porter is growing on me though, great taste.

Whenever I go beer shopping I buy some stuff that I know I'll like and some new stuff to try.

I imagine opening such a fridge, when opened for the first time, would greet you with a bright beam of light and the glorious AHHHHHHHHH! sound that always accompanies said bright beam of light.

Beer soaking is awesome. Try it in something heavier like a porter next time. I notice a HUGE difference in flavor when I use beers with more flavor, its worth the extra price to me.

(2) DFH 120 min IPA @~4.5 yrs - these are past the point where I like them, so I don't have much motivation to drink them. too sweet, not enough hop past ~2yrs or so.
(3) terrapin breakfast stout (coffee- formerly wake 'n bake) I like it because it's not too sweet. Big stouts are always too sweet.
-most of a 6pack of stella
-some fat tire.

lately I've been drinking more scotch. need a new one to try that isn't macallan, cragganmore, talisker, oban, Dalwhinne, or caol isla. stupid state state stores that only sell the big common stuff.

when i make chili, (been a while, though), I replace water with Guinness (draught). Perhaps I'll try something with flavor next time, though.
