What's wrong with you people paying more than $20 a month? You are getting hosed big time.

I pay 15 euros a month and get data, texts, and calls. If I want to do long distance I use a SIP app on my iPhone.

I wish I could pay $20.00/mo and get what I want - I want a phone with unlimited talk/txt I like verizon's network and I would totally utilize a phone with wifi functionality only at hot-spots. I don't need 4G or LTE or anything like that paid for since Wifi is free, only thing is the phone needs to support it, my current phone does not. and after speaking to verizon, even If I dropped $300.00 on a verizon branded smartphone that can utilize wifi they're still only going to let me activate it under the cheapest pre-paid option if I choose which is going to run me $50/mo no matter what just to get unlimited talk/txt

Expensive as hell. Considering switching service but I may be too spoiled by Verizon's LTE coverage.

Yeah seems crazy. Personally I can't justify getting data, that's what really makes it expensive. I don't see the point of getting a data plan when the caps are so low, I rather just use wifi and have unlimited internet, and if I am in an area with no wifi, then *gasp* I don't go on the internet. Even if my power goes out my server and network equipment is good for about 4 hours so I can still surf on the wifi. Going to be adding more capacity soon as well. :awe: Did not quite clear the last outage.

How much data? How many calls? How many texts?

I use about 2.5 GB's of Data, ~1200 minutes a month and over 1,000 texts/MMS.

I'm sure somewhere along here someone mentioned the poll choices are fail.

Anyway, family share plan 500 minutes (4 phones, 1 with data, 1 with texting) with a company discount = $107/mo.

The thing with going cheaper - I want to keep my data ($26/mo. unlimited) and prepaid PagePlus is $55/mo. minimum with limited data. I can get rid of the other lines with just an $80/year prepaid each, but it would cost me $75 to keep the 1 VZW line by myself. Family share plan is worthwhile until the other lines are off the contract term.
