The Maybach Excelero just made the list, right up there with the 1972 New Yorker.

Just curious... what do you like about the New Yorker?

I've always liked the in-your-face front end and body styling.

 Man, I bet that sucker gets 7mpg.

Downhill, with a tail wind.

That would be the most awesomest car to restify ever!

A cool paint job, mod the 440 (E85 formally the 440 magnum), put some cool rims and big meats, redo the interior and add a killer sound system and you got a great cruiser.

07 Honda Oddessey or 07 Toyota Sienna but if a client slips in a WalMart I'll be at the Nissan dealer picking out a color for my GT-R.

I actually bought mine, the first year I worked after college. I've posted pic before, but here it is again.

http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/lurk3r/vette.JPG

Its a small block car, just put disc brakes in the front, sounds very much like the world's coming to an end.

For a new car ... I'd probably go G35, maybe a WRX but they're too small for me, GT-R would be nice, but again I'm betting I can't get into it.

It fascinates me how much people love (and dream about) cars. I can neither afford insurance nor gas for many of the cars that have been listed above, so those aren't possible in my mind.

Just give me something that will get the job done with relative ease, comfort, efficiency, and reliability, and I'm happy.

so your dream car is a Honda Civic?

No, a Civic isn't comfortable (I'm 6'5").

Give me a 4x4 truck that gets either 30 mpg with 300 lb-ft of torque (or runs off hydrogen or some other cheap alternative fuel) and I would be happy.

Hyundai then, Sonata or Azera, huge 4X4 with assloads of power that burns no gas, smoke another fatty.

A corvette, and it will probably be my next car. I'm torn between the LS6 and the LS2 though.

I'm not a Corvette fan but I am truly envious of your ride. I knew a guy in high school whose father had a number of older 'vette including a pair of 63? split windows that he raced.

I already have my dream car, my 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo. I had the models and the rc cars of it and loved it when I was young (when they first came out in the Fall of 1989 I was 5 years old) and when I had the chance to get one when I turned 16 I jumped on it and still love the thing just as much today. Since I've always had a "beater", I've only put about 30,000 miles on her over the last 8 years. I really don't like to call my D.D.'s I've had beaters (a turbo awd dsm and now a S14 240SX) becuase I'm sure some kid might say a decked out 240 would be his dream car

Audi R8 V12 TDI would be my dream car, but my more realistic cruiser car would be a Ford Crown Victoria

I'll say Z06 simply because there is a chance I will actually be able to buy it one day rather than fantasizing about the ferrari and lambo that I will never own.

M5 is a close second.

I've wanted un upper (upper mid) range Mercedes since I was about 15 (25 years ago). I don't know that I'll ever get one and am not sure that I really want them if I have to pay for it!

Not to mention, Mercedes doesn't do it for me like it used to....

Hell, I don't know....I'll probably never get what I want so it doesn't matter much!

The new GTOs was one of them. That just became a reality though, so I guess I can't count that.

The Mercedes Mclaren SLR is probably number 1. With a tie for second between the Ford GT and the Lamborghini Murcielago
