For some strange reason, Age Of Mythology. I dont know why. Probably because both the campaign and skirmish are really good. Theres a lot of ways to play and I've become quite experienced with every strategy for every faction.

But there are much better games out there.

Team Fortress 2. Nothing like a little comedy amidst chaos and destruction to lighten things up. And if that gets boring, Civilization IV.

I find myself always going back to Sins of a Solar Empire. With the mods out there it can change the game dramatically, but it keeps the same fundamentals and I just love the way it plays.

Right now enjoying that and some Sacrifice of Angels in Entrenchment.

Fallback for me means when I get bored at every other game. The FB for me used to SC2, but now that's replaced by TF2. I bought BC2 still haven't played much on it yet. But TF2 is my fall back now.

Vampire Bloodlines. I go back to it every 6 months or so and there is usually enough patching for it to feel a little different.

World of Warcraft.. Always a way to kill time there when I'm between SP games.

Same here. It's one of the few games that I enjoyed playing online too. I would play AOE II also if it was user friendly like the AOM, I hate going back to make new farms and click for every single other action.

Other than that, I play Stalker SOC with Oblivion Lost, I think I'm ~6 months into the game already.

love Dawn of War 2. Between the Single Player campaign, Last stand, and the intense multiplayer, i never get bored of it! And the graphics/special effects are gorgeous! Can't wait for their expansion in March!

Not really, AoM is still installed on my hard drive years later and still is part of the regular rotation. That and NWN used to be my main fallbacks, but my PW shut down in NWN so I'm waiting for The Old Republic to release and fill my MMO slot.

I always come back to Tf2 and all the whining tf2 players who swear the game is RUINED yet obviously can’t leave it themselves.

I played a ton of King's Bounty this weekend. Damn that game is long (and waiting around for mana to regen is quite boring). I think I'm going to take a LoL sabbatical until I beat it.

Competitive games can make me rage... in recent history if I've been playing BFBC2 for a couple hours and every map I've been on I'm on the losing team, despite being the top scorer on the server. This makes me unhappeh :'(

World of Warcraft works for me, queue up on dungeon finder and go

TF2 - it's impossible to have a bad game (or at least not feel like you contribute something to each match) - plus it forces you out of taking things so seriously when so much outrageously funny shit is happening all the time

wtf? You must play on the most laidback server in the world...

Every server I've played on for TF2 is pretty competitive. It's like screaming over mics all the time or walls of text from players when others fuck up or do stupid shit.

Anyway...

I don't have a fallback game. I tend to rape in any FPS (only ragequit if I am lagging (BC2 had this issue big time)). I play HoN a lot, but if I have a few bad games then I don't quit usually even then. I get a 50-50 win rate or so. Recently I've gone down a lot of PSR though. It's ridiculous. Went below 1500 for once in a while I was like, "Wow..." It's what I get for doing all pubs by myself though. It's really hard to shine through unless you play a godly carry and your team doesn't MASSIVELY fail.

By the time I got to the end I was glad it was over. Too many pointless battles. There should be fewer of them and each should be more important. Same problem with Heroes 3.
For that reason I sometimes prefer Homeworld. Usually only one battle per mission but its freaking epic and worthwhile.

I have found my gaming doppleganger! If you like Fallout: New Vegas I will be a bit scared. . .

Whatever I'm in the mood for. I'm rarely in the mood to play more than a round/level or 2, before wanting to do something else, or switching to another game n doing the same.
