Everything is better with honey. All things I buy are honey oriented, when possible.

Honey mustard, honey BBQ sauce, honey BBQ wings, honey wheat bread, honey roasted peanuts/cashews, etc...

I think it really depends on the dish.

Exactly. And what dish really depends on what part of the country you're in. As a Texas boy, when you mention barbecue, I first think of beef, then sausage, then ribs. For brisket (sliced, or chopped on a sandwich bun), I like a runny and somewhat spicy sauce. Dickey's BBQ is a Dallas-based chain that has pretty good sauce (their standard sauce, not the hot) that you can buy in a bottle to take home. Usually the same sauce will do for sausage as for beef, but this kind of depends on the flavor of the sausage. For pork ribs, I like something thicker and sweeter, but still spicy. For dipping non-BBQ things like chicken nuggets, thick and dark and molasses-y Kansas City-style.

I like Sweet Baby Rays myself but couple of weeks ago, my Sams Club got some sauce called Leftys. OMG this shit is the best sauce I've ever had! Ended up buying 6 gallons of the stuff.

Stubb's. Sweet Baby Rays will gross me out, too sweet and artificial tasting. Of course the best BBQ sauce is homemade with real tomatoes.

I'm a fan of Mongomery Inn BBQ sauce. They're an awesome BBQ place in southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky and just went national with their sauce a couple of years back:

It's got a sweet/smokey/spicey taste to it. It's a thin sauce that you're supposed to heat up before applying (it thickens a bit as it's heated). EXCELLECT on pork and chicken

I'll also doctor up some kc masterpiece or sbr's with 2 parts sauce - 2 parts apple juice - 1 part apple cider vinegar to make a nice glaze on stuff when I'm wanting a sweet sauce.

A friend who lives down in Texas sent me a bottle of the Salt Lick Spicy BBQ sauce, OMG, I was ready to pour it on cereal and ice cream after I tasted it.

I actually ran out of it a few weeks ago and last week I searched online to find where I could buy a bunch of bottles. After searching online and finding dealers on amazon/ebay/etc I found the best price was actually direct from the Salt Lick website. So I bought a case of 12 bottles for $71.07 shipped. If anybody wants an awesome tasting BBQ sauce, buy a bottle of it.
