if we go by volume? probably lone star.

otherwise, i drink a selection of craft and import beers. probably the best of those is la fin du monde.

i miss the original biere du mars from new belgium. that stuff was amazing. the lips of faith release doesn't seem to be the same.

When the weather is nice, something about an ice cold Corona with lime wedge that hits the spot better than anything else.

Fuck man.. I'm mostly a craft beer drinker. There can not be only one... But I will try.

Any Doppelbock. I will try any and I will love most. There have only been a couple I haven't loved. So I think You would have been better asking beer type/genre.

One of my favorite Brown Ales is Brooklyn Brown. It isn't so much a craft brew nor micro brew anymore, but isn't mainstream either. My love of it is based not just on taste but sentimental value and memories of it over the years.

Normally I'd say Chimay blue, but I had one a few weeks ago and it didn't seem to have the quality I'm used to. Seemed more dry, less full-bodied. Maybe I got a bad batch.

I generally drink my own beer, but when I am out my go to beer is Yuengling, so that's my choice. Fat Tire is right there as well.

I'm an equal opportunity consumer. I don't turn away based upon creed, color, weight or nationality.

Mornin' (barely),

My favorite is Adams Boston Lager.

One of my favorites, too. Almost certainly my favorite lager.

My favorite ale is probably Odell Brewing's 5-Barrel Pale Ale. Superbly balanced.

There are a million and one beers out there now, many of them pretty damned good. But what strikes me lately, after exploring different micros and hitting many breweries and brew pubs, is how much _alike_ they are. Yet another pale ale, another IPA, another wheat beer. Just not much distinction among them, nor any real skills shown by their brewers.

Fellow Canadian? I would be surprise if anyone outside of Canada know la fin du monde.

Gigantic IPS
Hopcity Hopbot
Rhyme and Reason
Lezajsk

Those are what I normally buy.

Texas. Which is the opposite of Canada.

Uhh no. Unibroue is an amazing brewery.

Trois Pistoles is one of my absolute favorites. Their "Terrible" ale is also the total opposite of Terrible.

Ehh, I don't think I have a singular favorite. I do tend to have some styles I prefer over others though..

I guess the one that surprised me the most, gave the best flavor balance, and biggest amount of flavor for moderate ABV content ... would probably be the Wood Aged 1885 Kona from Perrin Brewery just outside Grand Rapids in Michigan.

However, I would probably say I like KBS better since the KBS is a bit "bigger" in flavor.

But it's not fair to compare the two directly as the Kona was more or less a one time batch ... and the KBS is released every year.

On the other hand, oldies but goodies, like Rogue Chocolate stout continue to tickle my taste buds in just the right ways ...

And then there is New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red, which hits like a wall of sweet, sour, and tart cherry. It's not particularly complex, but, it is just so amazingly tasty I don't care!

That said, day to day, I'm rather fond of any Lambic, Stout, Saison, or Gose.
