G' Mornin' all,
How many wish to enter into a beer fest on Thursday night?
Thursday? Why put off until Thursday what you can do today?
(I hate procrastinators.)
That would be 7PM Thursday here. I think I'm doing laundry then. That's the night I do my whites.
Seriously... Never heard of a making a drinking date for an internet forum. If I want to drink with someone, I walk down to the local pub and ogle the pretty young things and sing songs and get into arguments with the other drunk patrons. Have I been doing it wrong?
Any Doppelbock. I will try any and I will love most. There have only been a couple I haven't loved. So I think You would have been better asking beer type/genre.
One of my favorite Brown Ales is Brooklyn Brown. It isn't so much a craft brew nor micro brew anymore, but isn't mainstream either.
One of my all time faves.Youngs Double Chocolate Stout
Oh my, yes!Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale
Can't say I agree. I find most of their beers decent for what they are.Hate Samuel Adams anything.
It is the dirty secret that many American piss lagers go down ok enough if they're chilled to near freezing. Not Bud though. Never Bud.Really, I'll drink most any beer if its ice cold.
Oh and I have a case of Lagunitas High Westified Imperial coffee stout a friend picked up in Reno that should be here next month..So hopefully I'll have a new #1.
ZOMG, that sounds good! I've been quite impressed with the brewery, even for only ever having had their Pilsner and Little Sumpin' Ale. Their web site is done with rare good humor as well.
Founder's Breakfast Stout is quite tasty.
Just about anything Founders is a win. Their Breakfast Stout is excellent as is their porter and centennial IPA. I've got the "Dirty Dozen" which is a 12 pack of their Dirty Bastard scotch ale in my fridge. Which is also very tasty.
Well, that sounds very interesting.Worldwide stout is indeed awesome. Its like the offspring of a a belgian quad and a double stout... mmmmmm
