Fellow Canadian? I would be surprise if anyone outside of Canada know la fin du monde.

Gigantic IPS
Hopcity Hopbot
Rhyme and Reason
Lezajsk

Those are what I normally buy.
Unibroue is very well known and distributed outside of Canada. I like a lot of what they do.

Favorite would be impossible to pick, it all depends on the season, event, pairing, etc.

In terms of volume, though, I'd say it's close between Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, Duchesse de Bourgogne, and St Bernardus ABT 12.

I can't even imagine how many crafts and imports Ive had only once that could easily climb the list if I had more time with them.

G' Mornin',

There are some fascinating brews listed herein. I have a hard time in letting go of something I really like, but I may try a couple of your favorites.

For the Guinness crowd, try Samuel Smith's Tadcaster Porter. I based my favorite homebrew Paladin Porter off it.

A few craft beers are much better, but of what's available at the grocery store, and likely not to have been sitting there long enough to be skunky, Becks, Stella, or St. Pauli Girl.

You're shopping at the wrong store. Skunky beer is unforgivable.

Guinness at dinner, Bluepoint summer ale at lunch (on tap. Not bottled), Corona Extra to fall asleep.

Founder's All Day IPA. I had to build a keezer just to keep enough of it around. Limbo from Long Trail is a close second.

Becks Sapphire i found pretty good, but the beer store i go to no longer carries it . Price was a considerable premium at $9 a 6 pack but so good.

A good cheap beer is bottled Rolling Rock but canned is damn fair when a 30 pack hits $20.Bud bottled is excellent and i know the people will want to punch my face in with my liking of Bud but i will explain why in a hot second.

Atm i live in a dry county in Arkansas, nearest wet county store is 8 miles and anything harder then Redds ale is at a store about 15 miles away.Store caters mostly to cheap beer but the good stuff is hard obviously.

You need to work on your priorities. My liquor store is 30 miles away.

Per capita income in my county is around 15k. Median household income is a bit over 30k. Keystone, etc., sells off the shelves fairly quickly, but the demand for $9/6 pack beer is pretty low. So, I'd rather play it safe with Becks or Stella that do seem to have enough turnover to not be bad, than take a risk on the huge variety of other brands that seem to be in the local grocery store for the sake of having so much variety. Maybe I'm wrong - maybe they do sell quite a bit of the other stuff, but I've been burned a couple of times.

I'd say these are the best beers I ever had.

Last year, when I was in Bruges, I tried every beer I could find on the store shelves. They had some amazing Leffe varieties, outside the regular dark and blonde.

Also, when I was in Burlington VT, I tried the famous local Heady Topper. While it was tasty and rich, I'm not exactly a fan of the extreme hoppyness some people seem to favour.

Here in Quebec, they make some great beers (like Fin du Monde some have already mentioned)... but I also find that too many of them have a disappointing finish and a bland smoky aftertaste.

I think Five Monks by Avery Brewing is the absolute best beer I've ever had.

Runners up:

2015 BCBS Rare
120 Minute IPA
Fort
Sticky Monkee
2012 Barrel Aged Wee Heavy
2010 Cellar Aged Old Embalmer
2015 Brrrrrrrrrbon

And I'll stop there. The list could go on all day.
