Jules, I've just realised that you picked the same all time favourite as me. Is that what Americans call the E-type?

As far as I'm aware in the UK, its always been called the E-type. I could be wrong though.

The original Viper Coupe. Blue with white stripes, of course.

That was the first car that really caught my attention & started the obsession. Growing up I never quite understood the fawning over Lamborghini/Ferrari/etc. supercars but something about the Viper just clicked in my 14 year old head. Been hooked ever since.

First car that REALLY got me was the mid 90's Trans Am's. I still love my 97 Trans Am and its killing me to sell it. Pretty much either generation from 93-02 I feel looks sexy as anything. Especially for their price.

I do know, however, that if I could just PICK a car, it probably would have to be an Aston Martin. Any recent one. DBS/DB9 looks disgustingly amazing. Runners up go to Mclaren f1, Saleen s7, Carerra GT....

My friend was gonna buy a GTS Coupe but got to test drive one and HATED it. It's fast but MAN it's spartan! I drove home last night behind a silver w/blue stripes GTS.

Yes, it was called the XK-E here in the US but is also referred to as the Jaguar E-Type.

I've heard it said that Enzo Ferrari himself said it was "The most beautiful car ever made" when it first came out.

You should get ahold of the series "A Car is Reborn" with Mark Evans.

Goofy british vet-turned-DIY TV show guy rebuilds a Series 1 4.2 over the course of 15 20-30 minute episodes. Love the show.

Off the top of my head, in his other series he builds a cobra replica, builds a lotus 7 replica and competes it in some events, builds a airplane and learns to fly, builds a helicopter and takes lessons, restores an mg, restomods an old land rover into an off road beast, and in one series he restores a '40s harley, builds a crazy trike out of a VW beetle, and restores an old triump bonneville.

There honestly might be a couple others. I want to be him when I grow up.

My favorite car ever (returning to the topic) would be a late 1960's four door Lincoln Continental Convertible. In black. All the modern gadgets in the most beautiful classic ever.

Oh my gosh, I just got a text/picture message from my brother in law who lives in St. Louis. He just got to drive a Carrera GT...not sure how he does it (he's a performance mechanic), but he always seems to "test drive" awesome cars. He drove one of the first GT-R's sold in St. Louis because he worked on the other's bike.

I'm jealous...he doesn't even LIKE Porsche's!!

Lots of firsts on this car, first NA iirs, first rack and penut steering, a few others I've forgotten. Lots of debates with ppl not liking the 63-64's as much as the later ones, but I like my 63 best.

LOL. I already have the boxset. It was worth £85 just for Mark Evans doing a nuts and bolts restoration of the E-type.

McClaren F1 because it's a supercar that can hold three people. Also, good in any country regardless of which side of the road. The thing rocks it!
