4th Movement of the 9th Symphony by Beethoven...live...will give you CHILLS like you've never had...unbelievable choruses do it best...

That reminds me... musician friends of mine like to call it the "Taco Bell Canon", because the original name is often mispronounced in a way which sounds much like that.

Try playing in the orchestra for the entire Beethoven 9... that really gives chills.

Bach ~ Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

It has such a beautiful melody. Every time i listen to it i feel...joyous. I would love to have this when/if i get married!

one of the best classical songs ever , and famous too, i'm sure lot of you have heard it just didn't know the name of it.
also
Beethoven - Fuer Elise is a great song.

Heh, I'm playing both of those now (the Bach as a tuba duet and the Handel with a brass choir). Anyway, if I had to pick a single favorite, it'd probably be Tchaikowsky's 5th Symphony. Or would it be Mahler 1? Pictures at an Exhibition? The countless others I listen to over and over? I can't decide!

Even though a large amount of classical music lies in the public domain, the recordings are property of the record companies. That means no, you can't.

I recently fell in love with tchaikovsky and brahm's violin concertos! I also like Schubert's arpeggione sonata.
