In the south we love to eat fried pork skins mmmmm. If I ate those often I'd have a heart attack though so I try not to eat it often, for a real treat I like to get the Nutella Go Cups with breadsticks to dip in it.

I'm bad with snack type foods, and go overboard with them. No self control. That's why I don't buy it often. I'll pick up some ice cream, potato chips, or some other snack on occasion, gorge on it, then that'll be it for a month or two. The Blue Diamond almonds are pretty tasty. I especially like the wasabi variety.

Not exactly, no. I mean, I can't speak for the person who originally mentioned it, but in my experience the apples and cheese are at room temp or below, and remain in their original state until munched. No nuking or melting. In the apple pie approach you simply shave some sharp cheddar into thin slices and place it on top of the pie, which is usually warm. Again no overt melting is required.

Hmm... I don't think that would change the overall flavor profile. I prefer savory with my cheese rather than sweet, which reminds me, I do have a clear winner for a snack. I like cheese, crackers, and hot sauce. I didn't think of it cause it's a little more involved than just digging in a bag, and it's sometimes dinner. My preferred combo is Trisket Rosemary and Olive Oil crackers, Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar, and Tropical Pepper Co. 4x Habanero, but I'm cool with just about anything. I love cheese and crackers.

its peanuts coated with a rice cracker shell flavored with soy/teriyaki/wasabi/sesame/nori. like a m&n with a ricekrispy shell instead of chocolate. lots of variety in flavor with each bite and nice balance of protein to carb. way less greasy than chips and less of a sodium bomb.

they are available from amazon or asian markets, but usually in small 7 or 8 oz packets for $4. i would need 5-10 pounds to satisfy me, hence the need for bulk.

Don't get me wrong, these taste good, but have you ever read the ingredients? The packaging makes them look semi-healthy, but you could save money buying cheap fruit snacks and a couple of candy bars.

The pros: Better than peanut butter cups. Not as rich.
The cons: Addicting and make you fat.

The pros: Plenty of protein flavor cow in each bite.
The cons: Expensive as hell.

The pros: Helps me get started on a smorgasbord and when your done you have a something left over in a latex doggy bag.
The cons: Tastes like salt.
