i wouldn't say skinny. when i used to row i was 180-185 with like 8% body fat. i was bigger than most of the guys.

It all depends on what sort of 'body type' your going for. Most 400m/ 800m are muscular but and 'slender' compared to the 100/200m boys. They are generally power houses and carry a lot of bulk.

Rowers are tall and carry a lot less bulk, kind of like swimmers imo.

It also depends how the weight is carried on you. My bro at 66Kg looks huge and he's only 5"5. He has relatively thin bones but is stacked muscle wise. I have thicker bons and look really skinny at 77-79Kg @ 5"10.

Just look at the photographic weight chart that someone posted. None of them look 'that' overweight but they are wearing cloths which hide a lot of shape.

In general if you train 3-5x a week you carry weight better then the guy that does no training/ exercise that is the same height and weight.

Weigh in is 10-11 so I'll stop eating 6pm Friday night. Lots of sleep, 2hr drive (my mates driving) and hopefully I'll make weight. Ease off salt and carbs this week after Wednesday onwards. Should do it hopefully

A lot of people have different views on what looks good. Some people think I'm too big and I think I'm about right. At the end of the day I don't care. As long as I lift well and improve that is all that matters as long as I stay in my weight class. I'd take a bit fatter (13-14% bf) and lift more then be lean (8-10%) and lift less anyway of the week.

yea well having under 6% body fat will do that too u...and thats not even during wrestling season...that was off season where my diet consists of soda, beer, mcdonalds lol
