Stop crapping the guys thread. You may see it as an e-peen contest. I see it as a fun way to play guess what car. Thread was good till that crap started. Don't like it? Don't post. Jesus.
I don't know how to do this math. If I divide 6700lb (truck, me, full tank) by 240 (rated hp) I get 0.036 (rounded).
can't be...using 300WHP in his calculation would mean that his "fully loaded" Mustang GT only weighs ~2,830-lbs, and an '05 GT is at least 600-lbs heavier than that. i don't even know if an '05 GT can be stripped down to the ~2,800-lb range in the first place...if it is possible, it sure as hell isn't loaded (or even a relatively comfortable daily driver) at that point...and based on his sig, i'm assuming this is a daily driver and not a weekend track toy.Using the numbers from your sig?
We?The new 427 Cobra kit we're planning will be ~3.7:1, 2400lbs w/ 650bhp.
4:1 - Ducati Monster 1100 EVO.
Cars are merely a conveyance to me. Visceral fun is on two wheels.
A Viper is 5.16 lbs / hp
That's only slightly better than your Camaro
psh, slow vtwin
Aprilia Tuono 1000R - 2.77 (w/o rider, based on avg stock dynos)
you still overlook the cost and exclusivity portion. I would consider the Viper more of a super car and my camaro is FAR from it.
You need to let it go. Your original post was that you "haven't seen any supercar numbers in here". Since the only numbers being posted were lbs/hp, and many of them were in fact better than many bona-fide supercars, you were called out on that. Trying to qualify your statement on a technicality after the fact is just silly.
You're right that posting "supercar numbers" for lbs/hp doesn't actually mean that you own a supercar, but that's not what you posted.

Seating for 8 and I can open the sliding doors and the lift gate with the key fob. Yay minivan!
