What's your longest single gaming session you remember?

Anywhere between 12 to 16 hours, I'd say around 16 hours maximum, with Diablo II when it was still new. That was back in around 2001 I believe (it was new to me anyway).

I don't really remember playing for an extreme amount of time. At least not any longer then say 6 hours.

That might change as Skyrim is coming out this Friday and I do not have to go to school that day.

Plus, if there is a midnight release on Thursday I will be there.

I never did any extreme hours like some members here but, anyway, my longest record is probably Warcraft III LAN sessions with friends that would last between 8-9AM to 1AM (we took lunch and dinner breaks though).

Those were good memories but probably not something I would do again considering the nil productivity these sessions caused.

Not that young anymore (27 feels old I guess) but it was definitely EQ. I had one sitting at about 33-36 hours straight. That was one crazy weekend but I definitely had plenty of 18-20 hour stints at times.

In more recent years I really can't sit much more than 4-5 hours at most for a game. Although when Mass Effect came out some years back I think I spent 15 hours straight playing that game over XMAS. Same for dragon age now that I think about it.

Xenogears, 24 hours. it scares the shit out of me now that I think about it. I still have trouble believing that I actually did that, even if only once.

EQ, shortly before the original jboots were removed, from Friday evening to late Sunday morning with a crash for a few hours.

If we go with all platforms, then my answer is

Gengis Khan for the nes. 4 player campaign.

Went to my friends house after school on a friday, and 4 of started playing. We left the console on, but turned the tv off, and just sacked out there on the couch around 8am the next day. Woke back up around 1 and went back to it. I think that game lasted sometime until 1 or so Sunday morning.

Pc only, hrm, probably everquest again. Just general raid, probably one of those miserable fear breaks that you end up with multiple corpses, and are using summoned weapons and armor to try and break it there at the end

I think about the most I ever went was a sick day home from school in early high school years, played Quest for Glory 1 all the way through. That's nothing though compared to some of you guys lol

A few weeks straight of Diablo 2 with my bot running baal and getting 99, all the while I was watching 5 seasons of The Wire.

But on a more serious note, probably 48-72 hour stretches of Diablo 2 pre expansion trying to get my barb up on US East Ladder, as well as similar stretches in Dark Age of Camelot and WoW.

All nighters and 24 hour days were common with DAoC and WoW.

I forgot to mention also back in the day we had massive LAN parties at my house or a friends. One of my buddies even spent 20,000 to extend his garage into the ultimate LAN space lol. They would last 2-3 days.
We would play a whole slew of games. Quake 2, Quake 3, CS, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Tribes, Homeworld, Mechwarrior 3, AvP, etc.

27 hours straight in Everquest. This was when the fabled versions were out of classic mobs, and a bunch of people were camped in lguk, taking turns on the drops. I managed to snag a fabled flowing black silk sash and some other nifties for my main and my wife's character. After that camp session I vowed to never do it again, and when my cleric was in a decent guild they wanted me to start the process for the cleric rez stick - I told them no way when I saw the camp times.

Haha Oh man the fun. The ffbs ! I recall the melee classes wanting that so bad. I was a Wizard most of my time in the game so never got chances at it. I camped the Ancient Croc on the live side of Upper Guk. Fell too sleep trying my best to get those 3-4 INT sleeves he dropped. Recall trading the other drops to a guy for them since I kept missing out.

Remember Lodi? People would go crazy our there in Iceclad for him. Good ole times.

If small/quick meals count as snacks (I never eat at the computer), then it was easily ~16 hours most days over summer break of Starcraft custom settings maps when I was in elementary school, probably maxing out close to 24 on rare occasions.
