What's your major?

I was just wondering. Thought it might be interesting to see what this generation is studying.

Major: Accounting
Minor: Spanish


Comment: I am surprised how few people have NOT changed their major. Statistics show that a college student changes their major at least three times in their college career.

If you obtain multiple degrees over time are they all your major, only the ones you're currently pursuing, etc? Also are those different degrees changes in major, or just additional majors? What if you change the level of degree but not the field? For instance I originally thought I'd be getting a Bachelors in Education and changed that to a Masters. Is that changing my major?

no Minor, but that may change if Military Science (ROTC) becomes a Minor. Might as well, I will take a total of 39 credit hours of Mil Sci, when a minor is 25 credits. (quarter system here)

btw I am still in Exploration, aka no major declared.. but I just haven't gotten around to technically declaring my major. Will be doing that this quarter, probably sometime next week seeing as I schedule classes in 2 weeks.

Started in college in 1996 in Computer Science. Dropped out of college in 1999 after acing all my drinking classes.

Went to a tech school in 2003 and majored in Network Admin with a minor in Systems Admin.

Once my two kids are done with high school and off to college themselves, I'll be only 42 so I'm planning on going back to college and getting a degree in Philosophy with a minor in Theology.
