Should be higher. I got a 77 and I'm in North Van. But I'm gussing they reserve the 90s for the lower density residential + high density commercial areas like Kitsilano, Commercial and the like.

Mine is 89/100, not bad... I never get in my car on the weekends so it's pretty accurate.

They only gave my house a score of 58...but it is very walkable.

my neighborhood in mesa is rated at 49, but thats ok. i have pretty much everything about a mile from my house so its not too hard to get in a car and have access to it within a few minutes.

just noticed the data is out of date and not very accurate. the closest restaurant they list hasnt been in business for over 3 years. other places have changed from their list, and new stuff isnt listed at all.

I don't know how its not a 99 or 100. I have literally everything you could need within a few blocks of me. Maybe its because it thinks the nearest transit is 0.7 miles away. That might be the nearest trolley station but there's dozens of bus routes that stop on my block alone.

Makes sense because we don't walk anywhere. We're in the suburbs.
The elementary school and middle school are just under a mile away.
About 1.2 miles away, we have a grocery store, several restaurants and fast food places, a couple bars, a drug store, and the high school.
We've got a Walmart and Target within 3 miles.

So we're not in the middle of nowhere, but we're in a residential area with no place to walk that's under a mile away.

I got 75 and I'm in North Burnaby, near a few bus routes.

Interestingly, the site doesn't use data from Translink (shows "no transit data"), so our scores probably would be a few points higher otherwise.

Not bad for being in the 'burbs.

Edit: Just checked my parent's place in Richmond, and it's only 26/100...LOL. Thought that would be higher.

Agreed. I just helped my nephew move there, off Aloha and 3rd. He can stumble to about 6 bars within 2 blocks.

50s. Honestly, it's not great. You gotta first walk that quarter mile or more just to get out to the main street. Suburbs FTW. Only then can you get some stores in walking.
