I realize that Adblock was blocking the Transit calculations, so I re-entered my address with everything enabled.

Turns out that even with the transit information, my score is unchanged at 75 .

86, but not sure how it could be much better.

If you look here there is a pathway all around the water, there are parks nearby and everything else you could want:

If it were up to me I would give it around a 94.

You can see my condo in that picture, but I only scored an 85. I was suprised it wasn't higher as I hardly use my car when I am in Vancouver.

Yeah, I barely take my car out. With the ample walking space and abundance of shops, transit, whatever you need nearby, I would think the score would be much higher.

Something seems a bit off, paricularly considering IB's post above yours. :hmm:

92 in Atlanta but they didn't take into account the muggings.
100 in Marietta where my parents live. No one walks anywhere though.

89/98. Slightly above average for Berkeley, CA.

the one thing that sucks for my current location is the distance to grocery/produce market. I was once much closer

98: previous score in Chicago. Kick-ass location, wanting nothing, to which a few other ATers can testify

Got 25/100 lol. Really the only thing close by is the new small community college, 5 schools (holy crap just realized that now, that's a lot of schools in one area) and umm yeah. The rest is at least a few km away. Though carwise, stuff is not that far and it's easy to get around.

My address barely mustered a 2/100. People do walk down my road, but I'm scared to because drunk hicks/idiot teenagers have a good chance of running your ass into the gulch.

18.

Surprised someone got a 2. My neighborhood has nice sidewalks, but yea, in SoCal everything is SPREEEEEEAD farther apart than...someone's legs.

My old place in Seattle got a 98 and it was great for walking.

Current place in a Dallas burb gets a 51 and that's really being pretty generous imo.

My neighborhood scored 8...

But it's obviously inaccurate for my Swedish city of 145 000.

For example, it says I have 54 km to the nearest bar, 60km to the nearest library, 3.65km to the nearest gym, 6km to the nearest grocery store etc. The only thing it gets right is restaurants - the closest one is 0.16km from my door.

The rest are completely off. Pretty much everything I need (including the above things) are within 1km of my home. I have 7km to the city center with tons of bars, restaurants, cinemas etc.

I don't own a car. I use my bicycle for most of my transportation needs. Sometimes I use the transit bus - a bus leaves for the city center every 10 minutes and the bus stop is a 3 minute walk from my apartment

I live right next to my university in Arlington, TX.

82/100

It says 1 percent of people here have it better.

I think this list is created by the poor. I put in a Palm Beach address close to everything (unless you are looking for shitty food and stuff)...it came up only 75.

The parties there each night make the news almost daily.
