That was a downside, my board doesn't have the mounting holes. I'm currently using an AX-7, so it wasn't a big deal to me, but anyone that needs them should be careful of this.

I just bought TWO Asus A7n8X Deluxe boards and BOTH had bad fan headers. I am now looking for a board to replace the Asus. I am considering MSI K7N2G-ILSR or Epox 8RDA+. I want good bios and no crap to go bad like with the Asus. I have read other posts where these headers are bad so I am not alone. Asus BIOS also are lean.

Again, people will post problems not if they are not having problems.

For example, I've had my original Asus A7V KT133 which is a PC100 board going on 34 months now and I have tortured that poor thing like you would not believe, i have bent resistors, I zapped the board, screw driver marks ect... I've started with an overclocked Duron 650 @ 800 and then to a 1.33 tbird at 13x100=1300. I've changed everything except the board and it's been cracking RC5 and DF for 34 months now for 24/7. I do video editing, photoshop, watch TV and Record, Gaming, I've even put two sound cards in it and it worked. What I can say is that this Asus A7V is the best board I have ever had.

Appears to be all black people in that photo to me. Some of us who live with racism every day notice such things. It maybe subconcious but its still racism. I'm not the racist here, I was just pointing out what appears to be a cut towards a motherboard manufacturer by using all blacks in primitive clothing huddled on the ground putting them together. Its odvious blacks were used instead of whites to make the product appear even more inferior, at least in the majority of the peoples minds this was targeted towards. Being a techie site, which are predominately white males.

And not many were 'laughing'. Its stereotyping that has been going on for a long time, nothing new here.

When I posted that I never ever even though of what color the people were that's just not how I think, it didn't even hit me until someone mentioned it. When I use this site I never ever think if this site is being used by predominately white males, black males, blue chickens, little green men or purple cats or whatever. Yes it is subconcious but only in your own little head.

Not to perpetuate the issue, but I believe that pic is one of an African recycling shop. In these shops workers are actually disassembling parts from the boards for resale. Just a piece of trivia.
