i have some minor quirks that are a little obsessive/compulsive.

i crack my knuckles regularly, in the same way every time. then i touch my fingers together on each hand in a certain way, usually when im bored and my hands arent busy.

I won't poop anywhere other than home and a select few designated drop zones. CompUSA used to be a great one, but they closed. If I am out and about and the urge hits, I just hold it until I get home. If its too bad, I cut my trip short and head home.

I also refuse to poo if there is a girl in the house. Anywhere in the house, not just within earshot of the bathroom.

oh and my quirks consist of constantly touching the headlight lever in the car to make sure it's off during the day and on during the night and constantly pressing the button on the handbrake. i probably do both every few miles.

Main one that comes to mind:

Sleeping anywhere else beside at my house or car is downright uncomfortable. If I party at someone's house I will usually crash in my car or walk home if it's within a couple miles to sleep at home.

Just thought of another one:

This... and I have some gastro-intestinal issues causing that to be more of a problem for me than most. My office's restrooms are OK for me, so if the urge hits and I'm within 5 miles of my office or so, I'll drive over there. lol

Also:

• I wash my hands a lot. If I've petted any dogs, cats, pets, etc., I have to wash my hands almost immediately afterward. Dirty hands bother me. A lot. I always wash my hands whenever I leave any building that contains sheriff's offices, courtrooms, or probation offices (and many other public agencies).

• If I'm using a phone that has a release/disconnect button, I always press that button before I hang up the handset, shut off the phone, close the flip, or whatever is appropriate.

• If the sun is up, and shining directly in the windows, regardless of whether or not it's blinding me or is otherwise annoying, it bothers me unless the blinds/drapes are then closed. I can't stand the sun.

• Inversely, if the sun is down, I prefer to have the blinds/drapes open, so that I can see outside... and sometimes have the window open as well. I love nighttime.

• It bothers me if I'm watching a TV (of any kind) that is dusty (the screen, not the chassis). It does not bother me if I'm using a computer that has a dusty LCD.

• I has an AIM username that nobody knows the name of, which I'm always logged into using Trillian, in addition to my regular AIM accounts. This is because I'm paranoid that I've done something to offend someone and that they'll ban/block me from contacting them, without telling me.

• I frequently disengage the transmission interlock by pressing the button on my gear shifter, for no apparent reason, when I'm stopped in traffic or etc. Bothers the hell out of certain passengers.

• I adjust the steering wheel in my car whenever I get into or out of the car, because I can't stand the steering wheel touching my pants... so I always raise it fully before I get out, and then lower it to a more sane level once I'm back in.

• I always double check my alarm clock to make sure that I've set it correctly when I'm going to bed, even if I'm pretty sure that I'd already set it / checked it. Sometimes I do this repeatedly. I do the same thing with the wake-up alarm on my cell phone.
