<< Hmm.. i drank a very high volume of alcohol this weekend... but my tolerence is very very high... im not in junior high, so i dont really feel like adding up, but it was a lot. Anyways.. its kinda weird with me... cuz its just like normal bob... but dizzy. Same amount of fun as sober, same dancing, same personality. Never puke, never pass out, never any hangovers. I think i just do it cuz i can. I dunno.. dont make much sense! O well... cheers to beers. >>

nef.

I drink beer for the taste, just sometimes i choose to drink a lot and get drunk. And I only take shots when I'm drunk. Then the odd rum & coke...but it's all about the beer.

I just drink socially. Not to get drunk or anything, just a beer or two or a glass of wine. That's all. Back in college though, well that's a different story.

Social drinker

I drink when I'm out clubbing or down the pub with a few mates. I'm not a big drinker though but I have gotten totally sh1t faced at times though! It was fun though but quite some waste of money but hey its life and live it large!

I only will drink when out and about with my friends THAT do drink When out with my friends that don't drink I don't drink. Don't drink so I can get more confidence and dance in clubs I can do that anyway with being pissed up.

How about a couple reasons
I like the taste of ice cold Sam Adams or some good whiskey.
Good way to relieve stress since you can escape from reality.
Way to find out things about friends you never would have, like one girl is bi and another girl likes anal.

<< i drink cause i like to have fun...have ended up meeting most of hte females in my life while drunk >>

I met my son's mom in a nightclub...late at night...things didn't turn out so hot.

I drink b/c I want to. It relaxes me. I take much pleasure in pouring myself a large Beam & Coke, putting in a DVD, say Terminator II or something noisy like that and cranking the snot out of the amp and just sitting there going "Woo-hooo! Blow his ass up!"

Interestingly enough, when I go to "mandatory socials" w/my coworkers, I do not drink. Ever. People say things when under the influence that they normally wouldn't in a proper Politically Correct office environment; I am always able to say "I was not drinking last night." That instantly absolves me and removes me from the bosses' bomb site.

I drink for many reasons. I no longer drink as much as I used to, but I still drink a couple of times a weeks.
Sometimes like last night, just a couple of beers when going out to dinner with the guys. Othertimes like last friday, cause I wanted to get drunk and forget about life for a while (i generally have problems sleeping when feeling bad so this helps). Problem is that it takes quite a lot to get me drunk
Othertimes, just having fun at parties or bars.

So, I drink for the taste and for the effects, depending on the situation.

Why do I drink? So I can post creative nefs here to annoy the lot of ya'll

Seriously speaking though, I'm a social drinker...I'll spike my rum with coke and/or water, not the other way around, b/c I HATE alcohol...I've never been drunk...I've been buzzed before, and I know that some inhibitions were lost when I have been buzzed...

Drinking with friends is kinda fun though, if only b/c you're with your pals...

Hehe, I can relate....my version goes: mix up a few Maker's on the rocks, pop in The Matrix and oogle stuff blowing up and Carrie-Anne Moss in patent leather for two hours. Beats therapy.

Otherwise, beers socially 'cuz I just really like beer. I'll occasionally splurge on a really good bottle of wine if I or my wife have created something fabulous for dinner. Wine isn't good without food and vice versa. I mean...fillet mignon and what? milk? iced tea? water? yecccch.:disgust:

I don't drnk to get drunk anymore. As I've aged my hangovers have really kicked my ass. A few other people I know are far more suceptible to hangovers as they've gotten older as well.

I drink because:
1) I've grown to love the taste of beer.
2) I like the feeling.
3) It relaxes me.
4) From past experiences I've associated the taste of alcohol with fun times so I can relive that with a drink.

I drink beer (and other alcoholic beverages) for their health benefits. You wouldn't believe how much protein is contained

Now let me finish this Bud, it isn't for you!
