What is your 3930K clocked at ?

I was surprised that mine comes in at 7.8 .. Everything else is 7.9 ..

only way to get a 7.9 CPU score in Win 7 is to have 8 cores / 16 threads, a 3930K @ 6GHz would still score 7.8

Why does my memory always get 7.9 on my oldest system.
Would it be correct to say that most triple or quad channel memory controllers can give scores of 7.9.

Hmm, I'm actually surprised that Momentus XT doesn't give you a slightly higher HDD score. That's the 7200RPM w/SSD cache drive, right?

I don't think it's a typo but i'll double check. Anything is possible.

yeah, I don't put a lot of weight into the WEI at all. My 15k RPM SAS drives absolutely trashed a single SATA drive in performance and they only scored a 6.1.

You definitely had a running process going in the background seeing that CPU and HDD were the lower numbers. I just ran my laptop and got a 1.0. I reran it after the first time and got a 3.8.

From a command prompt type WINSAT DISK and paste your results. That is more accurate than the summarized results.

On my laptop it's 5.9 although I'm having problems actually getting of the iGPU because of something that the Optimus drivers are doing.

The breakdown:
Processor: 7.8 (i7-3610qm)
Memory: 7.8 (8 GB
Desktop Graphics: 5.9 (running on the HD 4000)
Gaming Graphics: 6.8 (GT 650m OCed 1 GHz on RAM and 135 MHz on clock)
Disk: 8.0 (256 GB Samsung SSD 830)
