I think mine is a 7.5 due to my cpu. I thought it would be a bit higher. Everyhting else i believe was 7.9.

Due to it having 4 cores and no hyperthreading, you need to overclock a 2500K pretty high to get a higher score. Mine gets 7.7 @ 4.8 GHz.

Yeah. I am thinking about doing it. Just built the system last weekend so I was giving it a little time to make sure things were stable.
I know it's off topic from the thread but is there a good sandy bridge overclock guide???

Finally Overclocked my CPU.

Now I get:
Processor : 7.7 (4.5GHz)
Memory : 7.8
Graphics : 7.9
Gaming Graphics : 7.9
Primary Hard Disk : 7.9

Wonder why my memory is 7.8? Does it take more RAM or faster RAM to get 7.9. I have mine manually configured in BIOS at 1600 and 9-9-9-24.

I've been wondering how slow of a processor it takes to get the score of 1.0 . Has anyone checked this out yet?

My index has dropped from 7.7 to 7.1 without any hardware or software changes. This happened because my harddrive (OCZ Vertex 2) score dropped by the same amount.

I have a P67 motherboard (the original one with the bug), and I'm still using the SATA-3Gbs port.

Makes me wonder if it's the bug that I'm seeing already, or if its something else entirely?

As it is I don't really care much. I can always just switch to one of my 4 SATA-6Gbs ports, I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet (couldn't be bothered since Intel said it was only a 5-10% chance, and not likely to happen for the first couple of years).

I have a Vertex 2 and my score dropped from 7.7 to 7.3 over a couple months of use. This is using a P55 board. I think it's more likely the fault of write performance degradation due to the drive's poor implementation of TRIM and GC than it is your SATA controller's.

That's strange. I've had my Vertex 2 for 5 month and have 1.5TB of host-writes but still score 7.8, which is what it was brand new. I though the performance degradation only happened when you wrote a very large amount of information in a very short period of time, and then would go back to normal after a period of time.

6.0 for CPU + RAM (E5200 + 2x2 DDR2-800)
7.3 for graphics (GTX 460 SE)
7.2 for HD (Vertex2 60GB)

This is all on a $49 MSI motherboard though, so I think the numbers are fine. No complaints here!

What exactly does Windows compare your system too? Some future computer from the year 3000? Also who holds the highest windows experience record? Anyone with 10's all around?
