Yeah, if both were free, I would still take PT. I like the reading/decompressing time. I've endured PT commutes of up to 1.5hrs either way in the past, and it never bothered me all that much. In fact, I'd rather my PT routes were a bit longer than they are right now.

Only bothers me when the weather is awesome and I just want to get home faster (driving is ~15mins quicker). Newer buses don't let you open the windows which sucks.

30 miles/day ~ an hour in traffic.

I can't complain because my gf has a 70mi round trip commute from OC to LA and she spends roughly 3hr/day sitting in traffic.

you can still complain. her having a worse commute doesn't make yours not suck. you both have shit commutes.

15 miles. About 22 minutes without traffic. Sometimes there is traffic though, so none of your options are applicable to me.

I didn't see an option for this, but currently driving more than 30 miles with some traffic as I approach the city.

35 miles one way.

40 minutes if there is no traffic at all which occasionally happens when school is out and I leave early enough.
45-50 minutes with typical morning traffic.
60 minutes with typical evening traffic.

Above assumes no accidents or stalled vehicles blocking a lane.

love me some country roads. I go to work at about 645 and try to leave at 4 to avoid the small amount of traffic that there is.

im pretty much in the heart of the worst traffic in the country (google dc beltway 495), however i purposefully have found jobs that go the opposite way of traffic. and now that i go in way earlier and leave way earlier (6-2) i completely miss any bit of traffic that there could be.

Work?

I clicked "roll out of bed," but since I don't work...unless it's some honey-do around the house...

Over 30 miles, I shifted my schedule and generally work in the office 9:30 to 6:30 to avoid rush hour. Most of the time it's about a 35-40 minute commute, but if I do hit some traffic it can quickly turn into 50-60 minutes. I'd like to be closer, but for a variety of reasons I'm kind of stuck where I am right now.

I'm home 2-3 days a week and in the office the other time. When I go in, I ride a regional bus, and it takes about 45mins with no traffic going in, 1.5hrs w/ traffic going home.

Atlanta traffic sucks.

About 40 minutes in the morning because I get to work 1.5 hours before start to avoid traffic.
About 50 minutes on the way home except Fridays. Tonight will be an hour ten minimum.

Precipitation adds lots and lots of time.

Sorry, I'm such an inconsiderate person, I should have included an option for our elderly denizens as well.

How about a write in for "wherever the battery on my mobility scooter takes me", or shall I include a "cane" option in there?
