I never realized how impossible it is for a contestant to win the million dollars on this show.
Tonight's game was the first time I have seen anyone actually hit the tiny million dollar marker that's tucked away between the two bankruptcy slots.
When he guessed a letter and it showed up on the puzzle, I was like hell yeah, he got it!
But it isn't that easy, apparently he had to end up with the high score and beat the other two contestants in the regular part of the game. And he did! He had the high total...but he still wasn't awarded the million..:\
Well I figured he had a slim chance at this point, he must have to win the bonus round, and how often do you see people actually get the last puzzle? Well he guessed the final puzzle! But he still didn't win the million dollars!
Apparently on top of all these accomplishments, he still needed to somehow have selected the million dollar prize card from the little bonus wheel. Which is what...a one in 50 completely random chance?
well he didn't get it, his bonus card was for a measly $30k.
