When are we going to get some good Oblivion benchmarks?

Trying to decide between a X1800/X1900 or 7800/7900, and Oblivion results can tip it either way.

There haven't been any official site benchmarks that I am aware of, but pretty much all of the user reports suggest that the X1900 series is superior for this particular game. There are some numbers available here comparing an X1900XTX to SLI 7800GTX512's at 1920x1200. Those are the only hard numbers I have been able to come across, most of the other reports are just users saying that the game feels smoother/more playable on one card compared to another.

My vote would be a X1900XT, or XTX if you want the bragging rights. My X1900XTX rig keeps up with my SLI 7800GTX rig in a lot of thing except benchmark scores. For the price a X1900XT is great bang for the buck. Just my two cents mate.

P.S. Oblivion runs nicely after some tweaks on my X1900XTX rig.

Hey Eur Fr3nCh - Do you have any kind of frames per second numbers you could post while playing Oblivion? I would be curious to know what kind of outdoor performance you are getting in Oblivion with that x1900xtx rig..... Thanks!!
