When did McDonald's make their breakfast burrito suck?

Oh come on, what's wrong with a sausage biscuit and a hashbrown for a total of 2 bucks for breakfast, other than the carb count? Tasty enough, cheap enough. I've never been a fan of their burritos though. They can't seem to get the egg texture right.

I was eating them for a while, the few times I had to grab breakfast fast. (maybe once every couple of months) The burrito was my go-to order because I didn't want hot cakes or a biscuit.

I want to blame the scrambled eggs and dry flour tortilla. It's basically, sausage, egg, and cheese....but the eggs are probably nuked and not really seasoned. You have to add salsa and coffee to tolerate them....they will not stand on their own.

Foodie would appreciate McDonald's breakfast. Especially sausage McMuffin with eggs and hash brown.

Eggs go in any burrito and enhance the flavor of any and all mexican food... Except perhaps churros or any dessert.
