A completely free and extensive community-developed update for Half-Life 2 featuring beautiful lighting, countless bug fixes, and a brand new Community Commentary Mode. With Half-Life 2: Update, there’s never been a better time to revisit City 17.
Did you d/l the "update?" If so, that's been modded by users.
IMO, they did a pretty nice job with it.
I keep reading that HL3 is a dead idea.
BUT, I keep hoping.
oops...sorry, you're talking about the ORIGNAL Half-Life, not HL2.
Just downloaded the game on Steam. No music besides the ordinary ambience.
So true. It's just a travesty that such a beautifully epic series will go unfinished.I keep saying that if HL3 ever surfaces, it will be Duke Nukem Forever all over again. I want to see the story come to a conclusion just as much as the next person and I personally think Valve hit the nail on the head with gameplay and sound effects (love that bullpup), but it's just been too long and if the hype doesn't NMS the game, it will definitely be another DNF on release. It makes me sad how it turned out, but we have so many other great series that ended on a high note.
You have got to be kidding me
Edit
The song was used in the 1997 interplay game redneck rampage. I just installed that game for dosbox on my rig off of disk.
I dunno what's gone wrong but must be some glitch.
Edit 2
Its because that disk is still in the drive lol
Lol, epic troll is epic. Let's hope that YT vid makes the rounds.
I didn't mean for it to be a troll, I even downloaded Hl twice form steam.
I know, it's still a great troll though. You could have filmed yourself just downloading it straight then loading it, no funny business. Most folks don't know that HL1 (and many other games from that era) just loaded up music tracks from CDs without checking them first.
In fact, I'd one-up it. Make a new CD with the 'still alive' song from portal 1 and put that in, then film from DL -> tram. Heads will asplode.
