so logically why is a humans mouth worse then a dogs? logically we brush, floss, sometimes use mouthwash. we don't likc things that are extremely dirty. we should be cleaner. >>
I think that all things being equal (either we don't brush our teeth or we brush the dogs teeth the same ammount as ours), the dogs mouth is cleaner. This is because they cycle their saliva a lot faster than we do. So they have cleaner spittle, as it is newer.
But seeing as how we brush our teeth (I would hope), I think that humans probably have cleaner mouthes in general.
Oh, and dog licks can either be for affection or food. When I get home, my dog is really excited to see me and licks my face. This is a sign of affection. But other times he does it because he is hungary or because he wants attention. So it depends.
