at my wife's former place of employment, she used to notice footprints on the toilet seats and could not figure out what was going on. one day she actually observed someone's feet disappear, presumably onto the seat, though obscured by the stall walls. i guess it's possible the person just began to levitate, but i digress. so my wife made a bunch of signs and posted them up in the bathroom telling people NOT to climb onto the toilet seats.

I don't ever sit down on the toilet in public restrooms, regardless of whether they offer those disposable papers that you can lay out across the toilet seat. I use my hands to push against the walls of the stall, all the while hovering my bare bottom and then valsalva for my life before my legs give way and I collapse into a heap of poopy and shame.
