When i try to use photoshop, there is a white hand obtructing me from doing things

Does anyone know how i can disable this white hand icon? the icon is like a mouse pointer.

Screenshot please. I've used Photoshop for a long long time and still don't know what you're referring to.

right when i opened photoshop to take a screenshot, the white hand pointer was gone. it looks like problem is solved for now, thanks for showing interest though.

Off the top of my head that sounds like the "hand" tool. You use it to position the art that's in the active window without using the scroll bars. If you want to check if that's what it was, just hit the keyboard shortcut "h" to access it. You should still be able to use your other tools by clicking on their icons though.
