I think VIA is bypassing this chipset and proceeding right to the P4X400. Here is a 6-27-02 news release:
Soltek: VIA Started Shipping P4X400

Although VIA company hasn?t yet officially received a Pentium 4 bus license from Intel, they still don?t care about it. It looks as if VIA was about to announce its new P4X400 chipset in the nearest future, which is actually none other but an enhanced P4X333 revision. At least, we dare state this as the first mainboard on VIA P4X400 has been just announced by Soltek.
Soltek sent us an official press release about the launching of the new SL-85ERV / 85ERV-L mainboard based on the not yet announced P4X400 chipset from VIA, accompanied by VT8235 South Bridge.
This mainboard supports the latest FSB 533/400 P4 processors, and latest features such as DDR400/DDR333 SDRAM, AGP 8X, Ultra ATA 133, 6-Channel AC'97 Audio, USB 2.0. But the most interesting thing in this press-release is the statement that SL-85ERV / 85ERV-L are available now. In other words, Soltek claims that they are ready to start shipping mainboard on VIA P4X400 immediately.
However, there is nothing to be surprised at, actually. VIA P4X400 is a ?pseudo-new? chipset. It hardly differs that much from the P4X333 solution. The only difference is the support of faster DDR400 memory. That is why it is pretty logical that VIA P4X400 is quietly shipping to the mainboard manufacturers already. It is quite possible that VIA will take time and not hurry up with the PR campaigns, because the DDR400 specifications haven?t been yet finalized.
It?s funny that the new Soltek SL-85ERV / 85ERV-L mainboards will be shipped together with Soltek Xabre 400 based graphics cards. Maybe Soltek made this decision because VIA P4X333/400 chipsets support AGP 8x, and Xabre is the only graphics chip supporting AGP 8x so far.
