When was the last time a moment in a game made your jaw drop?

For me I think it was the first time I saw bullet time in FEAR on an 8800 Ultra. It made my head spin.

Metro 2033 was great, but it was more like an extended jaw-lowering than any single jaw drop moment.

Man, FEAR was ages ago. Give me some more recent jaw drop moments so I can buy the game and experience it.

Seeing King's Quest 5 for the first time in VGA w/both SB and Roland system. Same with 6. That said most of the early Sierra games were jaw droppers including QG 1, SQ 1, LSL 3, etc etc
Seeing Alone in the Dark on a Tandy CDROM sys and playing on a 486 -- esp beginning bits
Lands of Lore -- gameplay and enjoyment
Sanitarium -- much of the gameplay
HL2 beginning and overall (prolly had my mouth open a lot)
Fallout 3 near the beginning (obv)
Bioshock 1 same
Bioshock Inf some of the ending bits

Yeah, that was emotionally jarring, especially if you liked the guy.

But did it really overwhelm you? If you want to talk ME2, I would go more for the deep blue saturation of the Illusive man scenes, with the sun blazing in the background. That was pretty cool.

Still no jaw drop, though.

Back when i was in Junior High. Went to the arcade, and there was a game there, Dragon's Lair, that looked like a Saturday Morning cartoon, instead of, say, Tempest, Donkey Kong, or Q'bert.

Other than that, I can only think of Doom 3 when I replayed it a year ago or so. The game still looked pretty dang good and the way they transitioned you into Hell was dang near perfect!

Pretty much the first few hrs of Bioshock Infinite....I was more amazed by the the start of that game than the finish but i'm also easily confused.

Bindin of Isaac. I fell in love with that game the moment i tried it. I kinda knew i was gonna get addicted to it the first time i ran it. WOuld that be a Jaw Drop?

Despite the original ending, the Mass Effect trilogy really did have some wonderous and amazing twists and jaw dropping moments.

The one I remember the most though was System Shock 2,
