When will House Dems FINALLY ask Mueller to testify?

Why have House Dems still not asked Mueller (and his team) to testify and hand them over the full report? Complaining that the GOP appointed DOJ is not coöperating with them is not gonna fix anything. Pretty obvious Barr etc are doing everything to protect Dump. Nothing is legally stopping the House from bypassing the DOJ and asking Mueller to testify directly and give them the full report.

Also, the law should be changed that the findings of a special counsel should always go in full to both the House and Senate. Since the president appoints the AG pretty obvious there is always the risk of conflict of intrest like what happens now.

I figure Mueller will respond favorably if he hasn't already. I think it would be wrong to demand that Mueller provide the full report to Congress. He did his job, which was to provide the report to the AG. It would just deflect blame away from Barr.

Mueller, other than maybe saying he was unhappy with Barr's representation with the four page summary will give no more ammo to Congress. From people that know him well, he is the consummate by the books guy. He probably won't offer opinions outside the scope of what he's already stated in the report.

I think that is likely. Perhaps there is a chance he sees Barr's actions as an unrecoverable breach of duty and a failure of our institutions to provide oversight necessary to the function of our Democracy.

As Mueller couldnt indict a sitting pres, it seems maybe Barr was of the opinion, yea, and second, then its all for naught. So stop it.
