When will ivybridge chips be available?

edit: Just saw the microcenter thread.. It makes me want to build one.. like field of dreams.. but for microcenter.. they probably wouldn't show up. Unbelievable prices there..

Newegg does what it does because they have no shortage of customers.

Microcenter has smaller sales for their individual stores so they're probably trying to cap on the local shopper niche.

I just screwed myself too with Newegg. My order says in packaging, but I put in a cancellation request. Wonder if there is anything I can do to prevent it shipping.


Update: Was able to cancel and will be heading to Microcenter this morning. If the Asus V Deluxe is a good deal, I will pick that up too.

If you were able to select the cancel option then if it didnt say sorry it cant be canceled you have to wait for the email. Give them a call. Also it will take a couple of days for the charge to come of the credit card.

I just ordered mine, got it from amazon.com for $250, pairing it with a GA-Z77-DS3H from gigabyte and an 8G kit from corsair.

I tried finding reviews of the board but they were scarce, any of you guys have any experience with it?

I'm getting the 3770K and the Asus V Deluxe.

There was an additional 50 bucks off a combo price but you had to get the 3570k. Since i have a Z77 i went straight for the 3770k

I will buy from microcenter from now on.. just out of principle..

20$ above the MicroCenter price.. but still nowhere near the violation newegg is handing out. I wrote them and they sent back an email saying some generic we do not price match bs.. and then they resent me my invoice, as if to reannounce the fact that I got 30$ off the mobo combo.. oh great.. thanks.. I'll never buy from newegg again.. and i've bought from them forever.. probably enough stuff to add up to the price of a decent car..

I wanted to upgrade from my socket 775 system in about a month and pick up a i5-3450 or a 3570 along with an Asrock Z77 Pro4 board. Unfortunately MC doesn't ship and I don't have a MC in my state so I'm stuck with Newegg and their garbage prices. Or CompUSA/Tiger Direct which are in my state but their prices suck also.

Says in store pickup only when I add the 3570 to my cart. Don't know where you're seeing they will ship that part.
