When will Leonardo DiCaprio win an Oscar?

lol, Denzel won his Oscar for playing a corrupt cop in Training Day.

Dicaprio should have won for Gilbert Grape. I actually thought he actually had a mental handicap and was surprised to find out he was just acting. And he was a great villain in Django. Other than those two roles, I dont think he has done anything Oscar worthy...maybe in The Aviator. He gets enough roles that he will eventually win one, even if he doesnt deserve it.

Popular people. I'd say all iconic actors, too. Doesn't always add up to getting a golden naked trophy thing.

George Lucas is a terrible director and doesn't deserve one. He has them for technical achievement through ILM, though, which is fully deserved.

lol--Tom Hanks has two, back to back: Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. This is also when Tom Hanks stopped being hilarious and started being serious. I mean boring.

Denzel was amazing in X, Training Day and the very underrated Man On Fire. In X he wasn't Denzel, he became Malcom. While there are a good number of his movies where he basically plays himself, he's still a great actor. George Clooney imho is a great actor too, and like Washington he plays himself in a lot of his movies.

I was going to throw Aviator out there as one he should have gotten it for. He completely nailed it. Of course working with an amazing actress like Cate Blanchett probably helped.

Even in OBWAT he's still kind of the fast-talking, clever guy ringleader. Which he also is in Oceans 11/12/13 and Up in the Air at least. I haven't seen a lot of his more recent work though.

fair enough. He's a bit more quirky, comedic in OBWAT compared to his normal fair, though.

as far as recent work, I think he spends more time producing/playing jokes on people than he does acting. Pretty awesome gig, I'd say.

Denzel definitely plays Denzel in every movie. But it's the perfect rule for him each time, so I gotta say I an a fan of Denzel flicks, cause he does do some damn fine ones - but we have to recognize he is a one note actor. Leo kills him as far as talent and range goes
